Computer keyboard

A new “toy” arrived today.  Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens. Not really had the chance to play with it yet, but I have grabbed this shot just to check it works.  I got the lens for it’s wide aperture.  It’ll come in very handy when doing theatre photography and be useful for creative narrow depth of field images.

3 Feb 2010: Just realised that I haven’t uploaded the last few images to my website.  They made it to flickr (www.flickr.com/photos/ianbutty) but not to here for some reason.
