Ian’s Studio is a new studio in Stockport. We are located in Woodbank Works, Turncroft Lane, Offerton, SK1 4AR.  For directions pleas click the find us link at the top of any page.

The Studio opened in February 2011 and is available for hire to other photographers.  Ian’s studio is the venue for photographic training and events.

The studio consists of a 23x16ft multi-purpose studio space. The floor is an original parquet floor. Large white back fixed backgrounds have been installed on two of the walls. Paper backgrounds can be used against two walls and a number of feature backgrounds such as wallpaper panels and painted backgrounds are also be available.

Main studio lighting:
4 x Bowens Gemini 500R heads
1 x Bowens Gemini 400 head

Additional studio lights:
2 x Portaflash heads
2 x Portaflash ‘background lights’ (no control)
2 x 500W hot lights (suitable for video work)

3 x Barn doors each with coloured gels, diffuser and honeycomb grid

Equipment for Messy or Water-based shoot:
- Plenty of protective sheeting
- The ability to set-up a warm water shower either in the studio or in the changing room for models to clean up
- Various jugs, buckets, sprays are available
