Port el Kantaoui at night

Please Note: Due to having no internet access while visiting Tunisia, this photodiary is running late! I will be posting two or three times each day for the next week or so until the diary is running in ‘real time’ again. Please be sure to use the ‘previous’ link to ensure that you don’t miss any entries.
6 April 2006 – Return to Sousse
We caught the train south again today and returned to our base in Sousse, and spent most of the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel. In the evening however we took ourselves off to Port el Kantaoui again. I was keen to get some night time shots there. It turned out to be a very hit and miss affair with those shots however. Many of the street lights were broken and the fountain lights didn’t appear to work properly. However this was probably the best of the shots I got. It is a 62 second exposure – I opted for such a long exposure because the fountain light would flash on for the odd second or two and I hoped with such an exposure I would get them to flash at least once or twice durring the shot.
