Menai Bridge at Sunset
29 July 2006
For most of today the weather was not brilliant. The sky was grey the light was flat – not good photography weather. So we changed our plans. In the morning went round a museum of childhood in Beaumaris (where I was able to see various items related to Edward VIII – good research for playing him in Crown Matrimonial in November).
In the afternoon we visted a butterfly ‘farm’ and I was able to get some shots of the butterflies and other creatures. (I’ll post a couple of those shots later in the week).
In the evening, as we were enjoying our dinner, the skies cleared and there was a wonderful golden light. So as soon as we had eaten we raced off to Menai Bridge (which was the original location I wanted to photograph today). We were just a little bit too late and I only got this one shot of the sunlight on the bridge.

I never managed to get on line during the trip so wasn’t able to post this until today.
