The Staff of Moses, Mount Nebo
Yesterday I posted a digitaly enhanced image of the Staff of Moses. Today’s image is what the staff actually looks like. This isn’t the image before it was enhanced it is actually a seperate shot altogether. I’ve tried to bring out the colour of the sky a little, but other than that I haven’t played arround with the photo. Although, I probably ought to digital remove the steps from the bottom right of the image as it is a tad distracting.

I prefer the first version. It has more impact!

I preferred the image of what the staff looks like. It brought out those Jordanian colours and captured the atmosphere of the place much better. I think that sometimes digitally enhancing images can detract from the uniqueness of the place. I sent them both to a friend who lives in Jordan and who almost certainly has seen the staff. Not had any comments back yet.
