The mausoleum of Habib Bourgiba, Monastir, Tunisia
This is another image I used in yesterday’s photoshop training. This was used to demonstrate colour correction, and correction of converging verticals.

What I notice now but didn;t on teh night was that in correcting the verticals, you also make the top of the left hand pillar/column wierdly shaped.
The left hand column strikes me, too, as odd; not just the top but also the foot: the ground seems to slope. A book I’m reading recommends that we don’t correct verticals to be completely vertical since, it says, we expect verticals to converge a little. I wish I lived near enough to attend the Photoshop training because I could learn a lot!
Location used for the film “Monty Python’s Life of Brian” (a film whch is not as blasphemous as its detractors claim, nor as funny as its supporters would have you believe).
Actually, the town was one of the film’s locations; not sure about the actual mausoleum.
It was the Ribat in Monastir (See: http://www.imb.biz/page.php?pg=diary&d=06-4-9) that they used in “Life of Brian” (it is situated on the other side of the road to the Mausoleum).
