Mosta Church, Malta
When visiting Mosta in Malta we had to wait three hours for the church to open. During that time I had a lot of opportunites to photograph the outside of the church. There was one shot that I wanted and tried several times to get it. It is this shot – a photo of the entire church but with the canon in the foreground. I kept taking photos from different locations but couldn’t quite get what I was looking for. Either the canon wasn’t fully in shot or the part of the church was clipped. In the end the only way to get this photo was to use my widest angle lens (19mm) and lie on my back on the pavement… taking care not to roll of the kerb into the gutter!
Did you think of moving the canon a little nearer the church?
Tried doing that – that’s how I ended up lying on the pavement in the first place!
