War memorial in front of St Paul’s church

We had about an hour of sunshine in the middle of the day today so I made the most of it to get some photos of Heaton Moor – just up the road from here. I’ve wanted to take a photo of the war memorial for a little while. I was surprised by the level of detail on this statue, especially when viewed from behind.
