Actor headshot
I mentioned in yesterday’s POTD that I had some customer shoots today. One of the shoots was of Gareth, an actor from the Garrick who needed some headshots taking. Tried various approaches but I’m quite please with the dark background and dramatic lighting of this shot.

Great picture I love the contrast, he doesn’t look like much of an actor though!
Stuart, Thank you for the compleent on the photography. But I must defend Gareth here. He is a good actor, I’ve been in one play with him and photographed at least one other that he’s been in. Besides which surely part of being an actor is not to look like an actor but to look like a real person?
