A teenage girl with a mobile phone.

Todays images is one I had to do a quick fix on before I could send it off to Alamy.  The depth of field wasn’t great enough to put the phone and the model in focus.  Neither was the depth of field shallow enough for the model to be truely out of focus.  The solution was to duplicated the image in photoshop.  Blur the copy.  (Gausian blur filter) and the apply a mask so that the in focus phone from the original image could been see though the now out-focus top layer.

Photoshop geeks hopefully will follow the above explanation.  For everyone else – it’s a photo of a mobile phone being held by an out-of-focus girl.  Enjoy.
