Fellow photographers,
I’m back! As many of you may know I’ve been on my hols. Holiday’s over and it’s back to work today. I’ll be sending out a more extensive newsletter in the next couple of days but prior to that there are two events that I need to finalize numbers very quickly.
Firstly…. Tomorrow night’s Friday Night at the studio: Abstract Night, Abstract Light.
Secondly on Sunday 26th June I will be running the long awaited Wedding Photography Workshop.
For details of both events read on…..

This evenings Friday Night at the Studio will be all about creating and finding abstract images. We will have a number of different set-ups in the studio ranging from small table-top set-ups to some larger items which can be used to create fantastic abstracts. As part of this session we will explore how you can used coloured light to create interesting abstract images.

SUNDAY 26th June – Wedding Photography Workshop
Sunday 26th June – Introduction to Wedding Photography Workshop
Time 10.00am till 4.00pm
If you wish to attend this workshop please book no later than Saturday 18th June
We have moved this event from the Saturday to the Sunday for a number of reasons including to avoid clashes with weddings! ;-)
At some point all photographers get asked to photography a wedding – even if it is on an informal basis just as a favour for a friend. While taking the photographs is relatively straightforward what scares most photographers is the fact that you have limited time and only have one chance at a wedding. In this workshop we give special emphasis on the ‘stage management’ role that a wedding photographer has to assume. We look at the planning side, and how to make sure things run smoothly from a photographic perspective. We conclude the workshop with the chance to photograph a bride and groom models.
Cost £69 (Includes lunch and notes)
