This was a shot I took last week for use in my "Intermediate Photography Course" session on off camera flash and strobist techniques.
This image was created using three speedlights and ambient light.
Camera settings: ISO 100, f/6.3 1/50s
The three speedlights were as follows.
1: Main light in front camera right. Bare flash.
2. Rim light behind and camera left of model. This is providing separation from the background on the left of the image.
3. Hair/rim light behind and right of model to provide separation from the background and to give a glow to the model's hair.
The model is Helen Sing: You can see here profile on Purestorm: http://www.purestorm.com/singjai88
