This pub is where Daniel Defoe met Alexander Selkirk the inspiration for Robinson Crusoe It was once the haunt of pirates and is said to have inspired The Admiral Benbow in Robert Louis Stephenson s book Treasure Island

I don't normally publish on line what I earn from image sales but I'm going to make an exception with this one….

The gross sales value is: $9.71
Alamy will take 40% of that. Which will leave me: $5.82
Convert that to GBP at the current rates = £3.06

Given that the Daily Mail is now reporting that the average cost of a pint in the UK is now £3.10 (See: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2081152/Double-blow-drinkers-price-pint-peanuts-rises-10p.html). The sale of this photo wouldn't even buy me a pint at the The Llandoger Trow…..
