This is one of the images from our "Glamour Clichés Night" at the studio. The idea is that we take a clichéd glamour theme (in this case nude on a bed with rose petals) and after shooting the cliché we rework it into something a bit different. For the nude on bed of petals we decided to go for a shallow depth of field and a low angle. I've also decided to desaturate and soften the resultant image in post production.

Sometimes a cliche comes about simply because everyone agrees it's nice. This looks very fresh to me; I like what you have done with it.

+Todd Green I couldn't agree more! What I said on Friday at the event was that images were clichés only because they get shot a lot and over done. The reason they get shot a lot is because they work. I was really pleased with the exercise of picking clichés and then trying to give them a new twist. It was certainly fun to do.
