Watching the video of the very first regeneration in Doctor Who
Feet up watching my favourite Doctor regenerate. To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who I am trying to watch all Doctor Who episodes in the space of one year (23rd Nov 2012 – 23 Nov 2013). I've just reached the end of the the first Doctor and watched him regenerate in to Patrick Troughton over breakfast!

Aren't you going to be something like 100 episodes short?
Watching reconstructions for the missing episodes. The audio exists and fans have paired that up with 'telesnaps' (photos taken from the tv screen during broadcast).
I really miss Chris Eccleston as the Doctor (fifth, I think? Correct me if I'm wrong, here.) He was brilliant, loved his facial expressions and his timing was just impeccable.

Oh my, I'm rather off…so that would make David Tennant the 10th? But doesn't he only have 13 regenerations? Or has there been some clever workaround imagined for that?
12 regenerations…. so up to to 13 Doctors…. Matt Smith is number 11. Don't panic they will just write something to give him another set of regenerations when the time comes. They aren't going to pull the plug on the entire franchise because of a couple lines written in the 1970s!
Do they ever explain why The Doctor can't just go back in time to before the Daleks were made and stop them from ever Being made in the first place, prevent the Time War and save his planet? If they do no spoilers, I'm just curious if I'm missing something. The show is great but the "timey wimey stuff" tends to lose me.
Also another friend of mine gave me spoilers about The Master getting. Full new set of regenerations, so he said that could be in the future as well for The Doctor.
Tom Baker's Doctor was sent by the Timelords to the lab where they were being created. Think it may have been called Genesis of the Daleks.
First appearance of Davros.
Obviously he didn't stop it and the Daleks were created.
