A traditional rehostatRecently there was a request on Photographers Direct for images of certain bits of Physics Equipment.
So I recently borrowed some items from a friend who is a science teacher and photographed them.
Edit 23 July 2006 – Never made a sale through photographers direct but I did eventually sell one image from the set through alamy.

A carbon resistorPhotographers Direct were requesting image of different types of resisters. I contacted a local teacher and borrowed a whole set from physics lab rehostats to small carbon resistors (as shown here).
2015 Update:
None of the images sold via photographers direct, however several of them DID sell some time later via Alamy. Resistance is NOT useless!PLEASE NOTE: This is not a source of free photographs.
