Hi Ian. As you know, I’m a Linux man but I’m unhappy with the quality of the processing I’ve been able to achieve since I got my Canon 60D. I’m currently able to dual boot my laptop into Windows 8.1. If Lightroom lets me achieve what I want, then I’ll keep the Windows partition and do the free upgrade to 10 when Microsoft make it available. I understand that the Adobe Creative Cloud photo package includes Photoshop CC and Lightroom for £8.57 a month or £99 a year, which sounds reasonable enough. I’ll download and install the 30 day trial for this workshop.
Thanks for the background to your booking – I was a little surprised to see you book for this! This explains it!
