Studio in Miniature

Tonight’s Friday Night at the Studio event will be another of our popular tabletop nights.  In this session we will concentrate on using standard studio lighting techniques while shooting miniature figurines.

Using a mixture of speedlights and studio lights we will apply the same techniques that we might normally use to light people in the studio to figurines.  We also look at the use of reflectors, flags and gels.  Using these techniques on a table top studio is a great way to improve how you light in a full size studio.

I will have a range of figures available for you to shoot including super-heroes, figures from Doctor Who, model animals and also a range of period soldiers that was recently donated to the studio.
