WHERE IN THE WORLD ARE YOU?
I live in Chadderton just outside Oldham so within easy reach of Stockport.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE TYPE OF PHOTOGRAPHY?
I like most styles of photography just haven’t had the opportunity to try them all. I used to be interested in Landscapes back in the days when I couldn’t drive but I’m not really one for getting up before dawn to capture sunrises. For the past 3 years I’ve been shooting cosplay (people dressed up as superheroes, villains etc.) at the many Comic Conventions that used to run before the pandemic.
WHAT ARE YOU HOPING TO LEARN BY AT IANS’S STUDIO?
I’ve learnt a bit about studio lighting through Ian and am interested in learning to shoot styles that push me out of my comfort zone.
WHAT CAMERA DO YOU SHOOT WITH?
Currently it is a Nikon D810 with 24-70 & 70-200 lenses.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PIECE OF PHOTOGRAPHY GEAR?
My Pixapro Pika 200 (Godox AD200) portable strobe pretty much my goto location lighting solution.

Ah well at my age I’m a fan of both the Pertwee/Baker years.
SALADS OR BURGERS?
Burgers of course. After all no great story began with “…and I had a salad”
