Come to the studio to learn the basics of studio headshot portraiture.  No previous studio experience is necessary at this three-hour session you will learn a number of techniques for creating studio portraits.  You will learn several different lighting set-ups and we will use a simple step by step technique for ensuring that the studio lights give the effect you are looking for in your portraiture lighting. This session introduces the most common forms of lighting for headshots.  You will have the opportunity to learn Rembrandt, Split, Broad, Short, and Clamshell lighting. The session is a practical session and you will have the opportunity to practice these types of lighting by photographing a model. You will be provided with lighting diagrams for the lighting set-ups taught at this session.

Lighting diagrams will be provided for all the set-ups we work on throughout the evening so you will be able to recreate the lighting in the future.

The model for this event will be BellaBee https://purpleport.com/portfolio/thatsutherskid/?referrer=ianbutty
