This is a scene from Stockport Garrick’s production of A Christmas Carol. It is the second production of this show that I have photographed at the theatre.
It was a long rehearsal which didn’t finish until after 11:00pm. The story of Scrooge has long been a favourite of mine so I am always interested to see the different ways it can be presented. I particularly like the way in this production the theatre chose to use a puppet to depict Tiny Tim. This meant he could easily be carried by Bob Cratchit.
Settings: 1/125s, f/4, ISO 2000. Lens: EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM @40 mm.
