Christmas wreath on a red door (Image Reference: 20200104A-G5919)
I made a quick visit to my Mum’s before Twelfth Night in order to photograph this Christmas wreath on her front door. I am thinking of using it as my Christmas card image for 2020.
Unfortunately, the light was fading so I need to increase my ISO to 25600, this means that the image is very grainy. This isn’t a problem for two reasons – Lightroom’s noise reduction is very good and secondly, my intended use will see the image printed at 3.5inx5in so at that resolution the noise will not be noticeable.
To conclude, may I be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas for 2020!
Settings: 1/80s, f/4, ISO 25600. Lens: EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM @47 mm.
