Cliffe Castle – the former home of the Butterfield family!

A much quieter night at the camp site tonight – thankfully.

Todays visits included a set of canal locks, and Cliffe Castle, which is the former stately home of the Butterfield family.

I tried telling them that I was coming to reclaim the property but it didn’t work.  Looks like it will be back to the tent for us tonight!
