Windmill on the sea-front

I was up in Lytham St Annes today and took the opportunity to get some images of the famous windmill.

There a a couple of things that help make this image work. For anyone who has heard me talk about in photographs composition you should be able to identify, the use of contrasts, filling the frame, strong diagonals and lead-in lines as techniques to focus attention within the image. It is also taken from a non-stadard ‘worms eye’ perspective.
