The plague cottages Eyam

Today, Ann and I went off to Eyam in Derbyshire for a ‘reccy’.  In two weeks time we will be taking a group from our church to Eyam for a day out.

Eyam is a facinating place to vist, with an amazing history of self-sacrifice.  When the plague arrived in Eyam in 1665, the villagers cut themselves off from the surrounding area to pevent the plague from spreading.

Plenty of images taken today.  Most so that I can put together a treasure hunt.  But others (like the one above) were taken as examples of the photography that visitors may wish to do.
