M6 at Charnock Richard

Had to go up to Charnock Richard Services on the M6 today.  It struck me that Charnock Richard sounds like the long lost cousin of Cliff Richard – but I digress.  The purpose of the trip was to very briefly to meet with my friend Mike so that we could swap the prints from my St. Annes shoot for mugs, coasters and mouse mat which Mike had produced.

While at the services I took the opportunity to try to get some ‘light trail’ images of the motorway.  It was slightly too dark and I couldn’t really get a good position, so this is really the best I managed.  Must try again another day at another place.
