Light trails on Mount Sinai

Keeping with the Moses theme that we have had for the last few days.  Today’s photo was taken on Mount Sinai.  The traditional way for tourists to ‘do’ Mount Sinai is to climb it at night, arriving at the top in time to see the sunrise.

This photograph was taken part way up.  The light trails you can see are made by the torches of the toursits.  A 30 second exposure also reveals in the photograph, the terrain, near-by mountains and the skyline which was not visible to the naked-eye.
