Illuminated Columns at Luxor Temple
For today’s image we move inside Luxor Temple. This was taken just after the lights had been switched on. There was sufficient light to illuminate the collumns, and also enough residual daylight for the sky to sill show light blue.
As ever the ‘trick’ with so called ‘night’ photography is not to do it at night! Aim to balance the light from the artificial lights with the residual daylight. In reality perhaps ten minutes after this shot might have been a better time, as the sky would have been a little darker. (Actually I did take some at that time, but elsewhere in the temple).
