I uploaded this photo to flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ianbutty) the other day.  I’ve never been really satisfied with it – I don’t think the verticals are right… they are neither one thing nor the other… not true vertical, and not angled enough to be quirky.  I was thus quite surprised when two well respected achitectural photographers said they liked it, and both tagged it a favorite in flickr.  May be I’m just too critical of my own work?

The one think I do like about the shot are the stuts under it… it makes it look like something out of an old Thunderbirds or Stingray episode.
