Maude at South Manchester Camera Club
This images comes from a set of images I shot while giving a talk on studio/strobist photography at South Manchester Camera Club. This was from the last set-up I was demonstrating The image was created with a single grided speedlight, shot through a venetian blind to create the shadow across her face.

I have been challenged by Phil Portus to post a monochrome image each day for 5 days and nominating a new person to take up the challenge each day. Phil challenged me because I was giving a talk the South Manchester Camera Club last night on studio photography. So what better way to start the challenge than with one of the images I created as part of that talk. You can see the full set of images that I shot while giving the talk here: http://photos.imb.biz/model/shoot/maude-smcc – As for my nomination… I’m going to start by nominating David Laslett.
Thanks Ian. I know these FB challenges can seem pointless to some. This has made me look into my back catalogue to find New unpublished work, which is always a useful thing. I’m sure my old mate David Laslett will meet the challenge!
You pair of buggers! :) Challenge accepted, Gentlemen….
