All Quiet on the Western Front (Image Reference: FL1011A-G03215)

This image is from Stockport Garrick’s production of All Quiet on the Western Front which is running this week at the theatre. The stage adaptation has been written by one of the members of the theatre, Martin Pritchard.

I was told that this was going to be a challenge to photograph due to the low lighting. In reality, there was a lot of interesting lighting that made for some interesting shots.

My POTD from the show, however, is not one that relies on the lighting too much. I selected it due to the symmetry of the image and the simplicity of it.

Settings: 1/160s, f/4, ISO 1000. Lens: EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM @40 mm.
