Our first full day in Paphos. We went for a walk from the hotel to the old harbour and fort area.
When visiting a new town or destination I try to go with an open mind and look forward to being surprised by what I find at the location. I don’t think I could be more surprised by finding these to very large pelicans hanging around one of the seafront restaurants.
I was a little worried about the number of parents who were encouraging their small children to go and pet birds. Especially when it was quite clear that the larger bird was being protective towards the smaller one. And those beaks could do some damage.
