Thank you to everyone who has responded to news about the “Intermediate Photography Course“ – places on that course are already getting booked up quickly, the first three places booked within 48hrs of the course being announced, and several other people expressing an interest in booking.  I am going to have to put a limit on numbers so if you want to guarantee a place please let me have a £40 deposit ASAP.

Goths in the Graveyard

We are on location for this weeks “Friday night at the Studio” event.  We will be heading over to the Church yard at Christchurch Woodford.  Our lead model for this event will be Rachael F.

Boudoir Night

Working with one or two models (depending on the number of photographers booking to attend) we will explore the art of Boudoir photography in this session.   We will have a number of set-ups available in the studio and I will demonstrate different ways of lighting and “dressing the set” to create images with a sensual look to them.

Lightroom Training Day

Saturday, 9 July 2011 , 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Ian’s Studio

Learn Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 in one day. This intensive and extensive training day will equip you to get the best out Lightroom and will help you streamline your photography workflow.

Attendees may wish to be bring a laptop with with Lightroom 3 installed, to follow the through the training on their own screens.

All participants will get printed notes.

Cost: £60.00  (Price includes lunch)

Art Nude Workshop

Saturday, 16 July 2011 , 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Ian’s Studio

At this workshop I will demonstrate a number of art nude set-ups.  There will be printed notes detailing the lighting set-ups being used.

The day will be suitable for those who are a little unsure about where to start with art nude photography; but time will be built into the day to enable more experienced photographers to build on these set-ups.

I will be booking an established female art-nude model who will be working with us through out the day.  I hope to also book a male art-nude model for the afternoon session.  Subject to both models being willing we will finish the afternoon session by looking at some set-up incorporating both modes.

There will be opportunities to create high-key (white background) images, low-key (black background) images and bodyscape images.  A large selection of props will be available to enhance the images and to help inspire you with ideas.

Cost £82 per person (this includes lunch and printed notes).
