When I look at other people's profiles (eg +Kevin Pack and +Kate Johnson ) then I see something call "buzz" in the little bar at the top of the screen. On my page I have something called "+1s" in the same place. But when I view that 'tab' none of the things in G+ that I have "plus oned" show up. So how do you get a buzz page?
Google buzz kinda bombed, don't think anyone really uses it. I think the +1s is only visable on your own profile, I have the same on mine with nothing in it but I can't see that on yours.
Thanks Lynn – I won't worry about buzz then! I don't see +1s on yours but I did one other account (other than mine). I'm sure it'll all become clear over time – took me ages to the hang of FB (and even know I only understand the subset of it which I need to know).
BTW I've been looking for the G+ policy on what photos are acceptable etc, and what the T&Cs are – FB did a rights grab on images – don't know if google is doing the same thing. I'm not that bothered about uploading as I can just link to images elsewhere when I need to but I do like how they display albums on image on G+
I imagine we are playing by picassa rules. Yup, the albums look pretty. I like when you hover and they open up like a pack of cards.
I did sign up for Buzz when it first started. I even used it a bit as an aggregate. But in the end I stopped using it as Flipboard was so much better.
I tweeted about Google+ policy on photos a few days ago. Its as bad as Facebook I'm afraid:

+1s is like in facebook speak?
I believe Buzz was Google's previous and less-than-successful attempt at a social medium to rival Twitter and Facebook. Google+ shares some of its heritage (like the integration of other Google services, like Picasa albums, etc.)
Hmmm.. I'm not sure the "+1" is working as I'd expect. I've just "+1ed" an article on a site I enjoyed. I'd expect to see some record of that fact on my Google+ Stream, in much the same way that a "like" appears on my Facebook News Feed. It hasn't.
If you click on your own +1 it lists which web pages you have given a +1 to.
Thanks, +Kevin Pack . I've now read up on it. To make your +1s visible to others viewing your profile, you need to switch to your profile page, click on the +1 tab then click the Edit profile button. You can then click on the check box to make them visible, then click Save. Phew!
