This was just a quick shot I took at the studio using some props I have shoots. The wine glass was from the sloping coloured water shots and the rose petals are for a glamour clichés shoot.

A quick shot taken while filling up Ann's car. A little bit of spot colouring (shock horror) and a split tone blue effect. Also added a vignette to emphasise the darkness outside the filling station.

This is one of the images from our "Glamour Clichés Night" at the studio. The idea is that we take a clichéd glamour theme (in this case nude on a bed with rose petals) and after shooting the cliché we rework it into something a bit different. For the nude on bed of petals we decided to go for a shallow depth of field and a low angle. I've also decided to desaturate and soften the resultant image in post production.

You would be amazed at what gets left at the studio. Discovered this deodorant spray on the shelf where I keep the radio triggers. Don't know how long it has been there or who brought it in. But as I was short of a POTD and I need to increase my "product shot" portfolio it became my subject of the day. Thank you to who ever left it behind.

Introduction to DSLR photography course.I took this photo to show how to take a sharp 2.5sec exposure shot without using a tripod. It was taken at the Introduction to DSLR photography course.
The trick? Push the camera against a solid wall and hold it there as you take the shot. Oh yes… and don’t forget to take image stabilisation off if you have it on your lens.

At the studio today we had two models and some snakes. It was actually a studio hire but the guys hiring the studio were kind enough to let me take a couple of shots. This was the final shot I took and one of my favourites. Inspired, obviously, by the Biblical account of the Garden of Eden. But given a 21st Centuary twist.
In post processing the image I have desaturated the image except for the apple and the snake, and then added a split toning effect. All done in Lightroom.
